Once upon a time in New York City, two good friends got together at a coffee shop to talk about life. They loved their day jobs photographing big news and notable people, but in a twist of the conversation they started talking about weddings. Suddenly, they saw the opportunity to bear witness to true love, caring family and unfettered joy. In a move that allowed them to have their (wedding) cake and eat it too, they started Avow Weddings. These two photojournalists were delighted to combine their talents in capturing just the right moments at just the right time in just the right light to provide timeless images of the most important day in a couple’s life. To be asked to tell the story of this day in pictures- to document it for future generations- is a great privilege that Avow takes on with respect, compassion and love.
